Overview & Highlights

Located just a stone's throw away from Seville’s stunning cathedral, La Paella Sevilla is a delightful takeout restaurant that serves up satisfying plates of authentic paella. If you’re looking to indulge in a traditional Spanish dish without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Not only is the paella delicious, but it’s also an incredible value, making it a go-to for both locals and travelers alike.

The menu at La Paella Sevilla is beautifully focused, featuring four tempting types of paella: classic Valenciana, fresh seafood Marisco, rich Arroz Negro (black rice), and a delightful Fideuà, which is a noodle version of paella. Each dish is prepared using high-quality ingredients, ensuring a rich, flavorful experience. The portions are generous, often more than enough for one, making them ideal for sharing or for a hearty solo meal.

As you step into this small yet inviting eatery, you'll feel the cozy atmosphere that’s enhanced by a friendly staff ready to help you choose your perfect paella. Reviews consistently highlight the spot’s charm, with Alice Vassy mentioning how “packed” it always is, a testament to its popularity. It’s a casual and welcoming place, and you might find yourself enjoying your meal outdoors when a seat becomes available.

Numerous customers have praised the deliciousness of the paella, with Ahmad Salih noting it as “quick, cheap and good quality.” Whether you opt for the richly seasoned seafood paella or the comforting Fideuà, each dish tantalizes your taste buds and transports you to the heart of Spain’s vibrant culinary scene. Rick Lu particularly appreciated the freshly cooked Arroz Negro, highlighting its surprising taste profile that dances on the palate.

Interestingly, La Paella Sevilla distinguishes itself by offering these delectable options to go, making it an attractive choice for solo travelers or those who don’t want to commit to the larger, minimum-serving offerings found in many other places. As Othmane Hassanain shared in his review, the concept is truly original for its convenience and affordability, bringing an authentic piece of Spanish cuisine right to your hands without the hefty price tag.

If you find yourself in Sevilla, do not miss the chance to step into La Paella Sevilla. Grab a portion or two of their sumptuous paella, take it to a nearby park, or head back to your hotel to enjoy a delicious meal that is both satisfying and truly representative of Spain's culinary heritage. This little gem will undoubtedly linger in your memory long after your visit.

Decent paella with rich ingredients. Unlike some comments there were enough amount of ingredients in our portions. Unluckily there was only pasta based paella when we ordered. But it was not bad.

Such a great paella for a very convenient price ! Highly recommend to stop by, right as you exist from the cathedral garden and have a seat if there is one free because every time we had luch here it was all packed ! Small and friendly place with only 4 types of paella which is very enough because the portion is pretty big and enough. There is also cold beer and very good sangria.

Quick, cheap and good quality paella. A few varieties with seafood only too. You’ll enjoy it here.

I've been eager to try authentic paella during my first time in Spain. After striking out in Madrid, I finally found a gem in Seville. This casual spot offers four types of paella—three seafood options and one with chicken and pork. We opted for the seafood paella, which was generously portioned; one serving would have easily sufficed for sharing. While it was warmed in a microwave, the flavor was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though they didn’t speak English. Thankfully, Google Translate came to the rescue!

Quick dinner of cooked from scratch Arroz Negro. Earlier in the day on the way to site see Barrio Triana, chanced on a hole in the wall takeout shop prepare and cook arroces in large paelleras. Promised myself to try out one of the 4 versions - valenciana, marisco, negro and fideua- instead of rice, thin macaroni like pasta. Each takeaway portion is generous and good for 2. Surprisingly tasty, rice cooked aldente and not the usual sloppy soupy mess of rice porridge, lots of mixed in calamari morsels topped with shrimp and bell pepper strips. What's missing though was the socarrat but not a big deal. Each paella se lleva was 9.5 euros. Service was a bit slower than expected. The vendor was not at the counter most of the time and had to drop by 2x to place an order. In any case, twas worth the wait!

The concept is really original since all the restaurants around serve only paella for minimum two persons ( you should spend at least 45€ which is not really convenient for a solo traveler), I tried the paella with black rice since I arrived late at night and it was the only option available , the taste was a little bit salty, I still recommend it if you wanna try the spanish paella with a relatively low price in the area The woman who works there provides excellent service :)

Im rating this based on a takeaway paella for only 9.50 euro. Can’t expect much for the low cost and the generous amount of paella so given the 2 considerations, this is pretty good paella. The other reviews seem to be judging a takeaway paella based on made to order restaurant quality paella which is unfair. It will not be a restaurant level, made to order amazing paella because it is a takeaway place, “prepared foods” kind of store. It is definitely good enough paella to eat if we keep this in mind and not expect a product to taste like a 25 euro paella (p.p. Which means x2) when it costs less than 10 euro. I will recommend this place for takeaway. It’s good food for the price.

Great paella fast food kind of place. The paella was tasty. But not cheap given the fast food kind of set up.
